Our LED Channel K2 is double anodized and suitable for outdoor led strip lighting applications. You must pair our LED strip housing K2 with an outdoor rated LED strip for maximum waterproofing. The anodize merely protects the aluminum from rusting, the housing itself does not create a fully air-tight seal, therefore you need to install an outdoor rated LED strip inside if the lights will be directly expose to water. For water-resistant applications, our dry/damp rated strips will work fine inside of that LED light channel.
