Unfortunately we do not have waterproof controllers, we have waterproof RF and DMX receivers which can work for your application. For a DMX LED strip stair lighting installation use our waterproof DMX decoder paired with a wet-rated power supply and run your DMX line into a NEMA 3R box. The controller can be installed in a NEMA 3R box. Some of our DMX controllers can be programmed to turn the lights on and off given a specific schedule. I'd recommend reaching out to us for more information if you'd like to explore a DMX system for your stair led strip lighting.
